It's amazing to see how HE is faithful in all things! Absolutely, he knows of our needs, our thoughts, and is faithful to provide, to love. Today I received good news: I will not have to live alone! It is an answered request! I trust HIM in making this possible, and know that He will be glorified. The way it happened is actually unusual, but thats how HE likes to work things, right!
I also crossed a crazyy street/highway all by myself. Ummmm my friend called it DodGE Car. We learn to laugh about things! I called for a taxi...I should learn more arabic for this task!
Today I read from Jeremiah, HE tells him to bind a cloth on his loins, and then he tells him to bury it in the ground, days later he tells him to take dig it up and the cloth is worthless. We, such as the cloth, are useless if not completely bound to the Father. This is my desire.
Let me just tell you the darkness here is immense. While in a taxi, I saw a little girl look straight at me from her car and she had a distraught face. She had to be, at the most, eight years old, and why wasn't she smiling? It wasn't a normal look. Seems as if she had anger in her eyes, as though she did not like me.
Only HE knows the suffering, the oppression that is here.
It's difficult to smile, when everyone around you is frowning.
Let the light shine before all men....

The Journey has begun!!
So today was my first full day here and it was great I went to the nicer part, which is very much American. I was surprised! I found my place to go when I need some American food, music, and starbucks!
Oooo and PTL my bags came in this morning, got them delivered to the flat! YAY!
Late we went to the mall, 6 stories, we only went in 2! They took me to Burger King, and so i HAD to tell the ppl about Bon qui qui... lol. The whoppers were as good as home! I kinda wanted local food but i'm sure i'll have some soon.
I got a cellphone its so cute its champagne color, i thought it be black but then surprise it was a different color, and it was only like 90 dollars, and 4 dollars to get a phone line!
Then for dinner PIZZA HUT, deliverd.... lol so yes i'm surrounded by a desert, but its a darn good one! ;)
PTL, i was received by a beautiful familia and I'm just so excite about learning arabic and meeting more ppl.
much love!

Sweet Hello's
Oh my... had I forgot how it felt to be home!!
The first night back it was soo foggy! and honestly the city didn't look too nice. But I was able to be with my family!! We went out to an AUTHENTIC Mexican place and it was scrumptuous!!
I missed my nephews and nieces so much! Here are the youngest of the family!! Awww...
I am also finding that after living at the camp for so loong, I get sleepy so early now. I can't stay up late anymore. It used to be that I went to sleep the earliest at 2 am. Now I'm sleepy by 11. =/ Kinda wierd. But good!.
Today I read from Jeremiah... and it was refreshing. Once again i was reminded that HE APPOINTS US, and he did so before we were even born.
HE longs for his ppl to be with him and his heart is for the lost.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, ummm I was hoping to shed lbs at the camp, THAT didnt happen. And it wont happen while at home =/ So many parties!!
Thats a crazy house.... ONLY in the U.S.!!
I'm looking forward to more sweet times with friends and family! CALL ME UP!

Sum up for Trip to D.C./NY
OH....the places you'll go!!
I like taking random pics... this just looks antique to me! One day we wont have these but instead have something like an e-news stand... on the streets..

And spend some time lifting up the women I met to "DAD."
One woman who was so kind didn't speak any english at all...she didnt want us to leave...she kept on talking to me as if i could understand her, she was sweet. I don't know what she was saying but the smile in her face was genuine. Rach took out her little language book and I asked the lady to read some arabi c for me. So i got some language class ;)
The picture above is from a little restaurant that we went to. Our waiter spoke Eng, Span, Arabic, and French!!! They had the best home cooked bread...it was an authentic Moroccan restaurant!
Change of Pace....6 adventurous souls go to NYC!!
BROOKYLN BRIDGE
HAIRSPRAY !!!!
BROOKLYN TABERNACLE
I have always wanted to attend a gospel choir service...and once again PTL He allowed me to go!! It was beautiful to see how all different nationalities and races joined together to give HIM glory and honor.
BUS RIDE HOME
i'LL DO YOU a favor and not post any pics up of that. Lol.. it was rainy, cold, and we miraculously found and got on our bus amongst the other five white, non-labeled buses and through the crowd of like 100 ppl trying to get on the same bus. Yes, ppl got left behind, so i heard later. I thought overbooking only happened with Grayhound! booo...
Also, i had BON QUI QUI sitting right infront of me.. it was ruhdicuhlous... girrl....she will cuut you.. lol. The woman was pretty loud the whole way.
Oh and we sat close to the bathroom... whose stench escalated as we got closer to home. yuck. we made it back though.
I appreciate VA alot more. =)
