I usually end up posting my thoughts anyway, but I find it interesting that every time I go to make my prayers, my thoughts, my discoveries of God's word public, I'm encountered with real resistance. (my mind begins to battle with my spirit on whether or not it is correct to post, how to post, who will see it ect.)

I've never struggled with this in the past and I think it is important to examine why it is that I'm experiencing this now. There are three possible explanations that I've come up with.

1) I'm the problem, my spiritual state could be weak, I could be doubting the truths I want to post or fear may be trying to cripple me.

2) Where I am is the problem. Haiti is a country where spirit worship predominates and my struggle may just be a manifestation of the spiritual decay of this country.

3) The problem comes from the times we are in. This could be the "beginning of labor pangs" when the love of many grows cold and many will become faithless (2
Timothy 3:5). The spirit of the anti-christ is rampid and is working overtime to make sure that he cancels out all truth that is spoken.

I'm leaning more towards explanation number 3. I don't want to boast and say that my spiritual state is at its best, but even when I struggle, I'm confident that the truth I am wanting to post is the truth and that it is essential for the life of our souls. I can write spiritual truths and declare them when I'm talking to people one on one and even when I write on this blog. The struggle and the questioning only comes up when I'm posting on a widely viewed outlet, like facebook.

Explanation # 2 is not the case, because I'm actually more encouraged by the reality of a spiritual world here in Haiti where spiritual dynamics are obvious. So this reality actually makes me even more confident on the spiritual truths gained from the Bible. (Demoniacs, spiritual oppression, and tormenting spirits are common here, so wouldn't this fuel my desire to speak life?)

Explanation # 3 makes the most sense. There is a real spiritual force that is at war against my spirit man. When I want to declare truth to an audience that needs to hear it, I am faced with strong opposition. I wonder how many other believers find themselves also struggling to proclaim truth boldly? The spirit of the anti-christ comes on mission to replace the truth of the gospel. He comes to cancel out all the work of Christ Jesus. This spirit will seek to reject God's word as truth and will try to convince everyone of his false kingdom of peace. Peace that is not based on truth, peace that is based on relativism and tolerance. Where the truth is suppressed and a band-aid is placed over a gaping wound.

If you've experienced this in increasing measure these days know that you are not alone. Let's pray for the brethren, just as Paul prayed: "Pray that words may be given to me in opening my mouth BOLDLY to proclaim the mystery of the gospel." Ephesians 6:19

We are living in a time where the spiritual battle between good and evil is heating up, I believe this is true because of the impending return of Jesus Christ. The church will be tempted in many ways and many will fall away or give into false doctrine that teaches that Jesus Christ is not the promised Son of God. It will become difficult for many in the church to declare in confidence their faith in Jesus Christ as our atoning sacrifice. Many will begin to accept other ways of reaching God in their desire to bring peace and be tolerant. Jesus told us to be on the alert, to keep watch, and that only those who persevere till the end will be called faithful. When the questioning comes and you begin to pull back from declaring your faith and who Christ is to you, pray and mute the voice of the spirit of the anti-christ that is trying to mute you. Let us speak for the nations what the truth of the Gospel is, let us not shy away from proclaiming God's word and his love for all.

You think you've made a wise decision because you are moving away from the very person who has too much power over your emotions. When you talk with, hang out with this person you can't help but to desire to be something for him or her; you step into a certain role for them; your demeanor changes when he or she is around. You aren't yourself, or at least you aren't the self that you are used to having under control. So for all of these reasons you begrudgingly have to let him or her "go". You said, "I need time." "I can't take this anymore" " I feel sick every time we talk" So you hit an all time low and you realize that what you were aiming for with this relationship is not panning out, so you indeed let this person go. You force yourself to be angry with, bitter towards, and unresponsive towards him/her. This is difficult, you are not this type of person.

You struggle... At first. You are used to responding to calls automatically. So you go through the cycle. Again and again. Until once again you convince yourself that this is the healthiest option for you. So you step away. You struggle; until somehow he/she gets it! He doesn't call anymore. She replies but it's short. You've now, unwittingly, become that friend who never kept in touch. If she only knew how hard it was to stay away. You see.... You were never away. The fact that you stopped talking doesn't mean he wasn't on your mind. He still had a grip on you. Your heart, your thoughts were intrically interwoven with this other person who..... Hmmmm..... Had no idea you had the slightest care for him. Now that she's no longer trying to hold on to you, you wonder what if? But then you stop yourself. You tell yourself that you were miserable, you weren't yourself. You remind yourself of the cyclical pattern of your relationship and your feelings when this person was around.

You silence the creeping thoughts. Sure enough, after doing this for so long and forcing your mind to think on new things, you're Free! Free! No longer tied, no longer burdened. Not wondering what if, not dreaming about how things happened. You are finally and completely free. At least from this one.

Then, out of nowhere, you scroll through your messages and you see that persons name and you click and realize that the last message that was sent was not from you, it was her message. A message that in those days you deliberately chose not to respond to. So you wonder.... Why was I so insistent in having my way or no way. Then you wonder if it's ok to just pick up the conversation where you last dropped it.

The feelings are creeping back in. Beware. Do you risk it? Do you rekindle this friendship. After all, that person has no idea of the drama that went on at the other side of the curtain.

When feelings creep in....inspired by every woman's true story.

Get a hold of your heart, for from it flows the wellspring of life.

I and my best friend listened to a message by Pastor Mike Hayes, Daniel's Fast for the Future. My walk with the Lord had become sloppy, my health was at it's worst. I felt lethargic physically and spiritually. I was in a downward spiral, I didn't really know it, until now. I felt that if things didn't begin to change I would end up dead inside. Jasmine as you knew her would be dead. I've been complimented for my smile, and for my ability to bring peace and wisdom to situations. These days however I felt tired and dry. This was due to a lot of things, some of this was doubt, fear, and the fact that I was in a new country whose spiritual climate is one of helplessness, despair, and compromise. The verse that became very clear to me here was that the Kingdom of God suffers violence, but the violent take it by force. (Mt. 11:12) This place was not a sit back and see what happens kind of place or a go with the flow type of environment. Haiti is a place where you have to PUSH, you have to inquire of the Lord, you have to call for Heaven's will to be done here. Well, you can't do this, you can't fight the good fight if you are feeling faint. So it became clear to me that it was time to make a change and this would have to be intentional. After listening to the message by Pastor Mike Hayes I realized that this was a life or death type of change that was needed. You see if Daniel would have gone with the flow of the environment he was in, he would have perished. His calling would have never been fulfilled. He would have assimilated to the Babylonian culture and he would have never heard from God on the interpretation of the King's dream and he would have never had favor to raise up King Cyrus––the one that would release Daniel's people back to their land from exile. Daniel would've missed it, all because he didn't resist, because he didn't resolve not to eat from the King's food.

When I was 17, ten years ago, the Lord gave me a vision and he called me to serve Him. There was a passion in my heart to complete this mission that was now implanted on my heart, my mind, and my desire. I've worked towards it, everyplace I go to I discover more and more about how to fulfill this mission, but I was beginning to grow weary. I'm now working on my masters––a prerequisite to fulfilling this promise, and I've had a struggle. There are questions that I have to think about, of which I do not have an answer for. Fear creeps in sometimes, I wonder How? Why? Me? Why can't I just have a normal life... so much dreaming, so much sacrifice, for what? I don't have anything to show for it now. My life doesn't make sense to many around me. She wanders is what I hear people say. She's not grounded. Yet in the deepest parts of me there is a knowing that God will not lead me into despair, He will not cause my feet to stumble. He will not punish me for going or doing what I hear Him say to me. No matter how foolish, no matter how different it is from what everyone else is doing. My deepest place says I trust God. But this voice was becoming faint, it was drowning with the thoughts of my mind. I needed to hear from God again.

I began this food and veggie diet for ten days, just as Daniel did. Mostly because of one statement: When you are not eating right, there is a haze that can fog your vision. At that moment I knew exactly what Pastor Mike Hayes was saying. I felt this way. I needed to defrost the windshield of my eyes. After 6 days I began to see the change in my body. I was able to fit into a dress that fit me like a shirt only a week ago. I was no longer having headaches or chest pain. I got on a regular sleeping and waking up schedule. My days were more productive, and my time with the Lord was more fruitful. I learned about Water and how it has memory, the power of our words. I learned that what I speak and think actually does affect what happens. The link I just provided proves how this is even evident through nature. It's deep! Truth is that I had been speaking doubt and negative things about myself, my future, and it was time to stop.

It is now the 15th day, and I got news today that my security clearance which I have been waiting for since I arrived to this country (and before) was finally cleared. :) I also met with someone yesterday who asked for me to send him my resume because there are possible employment opportunities in the area that I actually want and need to be prepared in. I don't know if I'll actually get that job, but I don't care! There's movement..finally.... I feel confident that God honored my 14 day commitment to restore order in my life through my eating habits, and so He is moving things that have been on hold. I trust his timing is perfect. I don't disdain the time I've waited, I am just thankful for what he did today. I'm thankful for how I'm feeling now. The fact that I'm writing says a lot. (I had been having a real hard time with writing it was like brain freeze). I'm thankful for this lesson.

I also heard a message tonight, which is the reason I titled this post the way I did. Heidi Baker (forward to about 2:00:00 in the video) spoke of Mary and the promise that God gave her––she was to carry His son for 9 months, and she would give birth to the Savior of the world: Jesus. This "favor" was costly. Her parents would surely look at her as a liar and as crazy; her husband wanted to divorce her; people all around her would fail to understand. They would accuse her of fornication and many other things. Heidi asked, who will hold onto God's promise in their life full-term? Just last week I was sharing with a friend that I felt that maybe I was burnt out, and Heidi talked about this in her message. She said we are to be burning and never burnt out. God is looking for sustainability. Even as the development world is coming up with ways for sustainable development, God calls us into sustainability. He asks, will you carry the promise I gave you until it's time to give birth to it? Will you take care of it, will you eat the proper foods, will you prepare in the proper way in order to have a healthy delivery? Mary asked, How will this be Lord? I too have asked HOW God, how can I? how will I? How..... but she couldn't do anything to get pregnant could she? She couldn't make it happen, she had no clue when it would happen, there was no way to make it happen earlier or later. She just had to say YES and allow God to do what He said He would do. I was growing weary, but tonight I was reminded that I don't have to know How I just have to say Yes. Everyday Yes. Every night, Yes. Every trimester, every contraction, every pain, YES. I must keep going, I must never burn out. Our passion, our fire, burns out without intimacy. Unless we sit before the Lord and receive of his word over our lives, we will die. Our computers lose charge after some time away from their power source. We too die, our battery dies, if we don't plug in daily.

This mission that has been implanted into my heart, mind, and soul is the Lord's. There is no one else who is capable of fulfilling the unique and special calling that is on my life. Just as no one can do what God has called YOU to do. He creates us each different, with a special skill set to do what only we can do. This brings me peace, it brings me joy, and it brings me responsibility. Let me be all that I was created to be, let me not strive to be something that I'm not. May God be my center, be my guide.

Today I lay down my heart, just as it is, I ask of the Lord to renew within me this passion that I once had to believe and move towards fulfilling the work set before me. I lay down my will, that His will be done. I give it all to him, along with my failures, that He would save me, that He would direct me, that He would look upon me and call me blessed. Would they email me, call, or wonder how I'm doing? Would I do the same for them?

Facebook makes it really easy to check up on people, and in your mind you know you are checking up on them and you feel connected with them, except they don't even know it and so don't even know you care.

Instead of actually speaking to each other, now a "like" is a way to show that I'm being listened to.
Comments... comments now those are special. Messages.. these are the people I think you are actually in friendship with.

Hmmm.. this social media thing is dangerous. Dangerous for communication, relationships, and self-esteem. Lol. I guess I'm just a bit far away from everyone I have on facebook.... being in a different nation... my facebook friends end up being just that... facebook friends.

It would be nice for them to cross over from just liking... to commenting.. to asking how are you.. to messaging... and hey maybe even facetiming? or how about imessaging or skyping. I have them all....

Sometimes I just feel like I'm a victim of the out of sight out of mind rule.

wholeheartedly,
So before I leave for a long break, I want to write my initial thoughts after about 3 months living in Haiti. Some of these thoughts you may not agree with, but I am really trying to be honest and I'm mostly journaling so I can follow my progression of thoughts and ideas on Haiti and development. I realize we often say things that we see as matter of fact, when we are really just speaking out of ignorance or frustration. So, if you find yourself disagreeing with my thoughts, feel free to post your reply or just take them as my venting.

What do I know about Haiti now:
I know that it was hit by a large earthquake and from the looks of it now, it very well could deserve to be named the worst earthquake in the history of the Americas. It's a small country, with lots of mountains, lots of people.... at least in Port-au-Prince, they swarm the streets. The roads are aching with pits and potholes everywhere. Huge pieces of rocks and stones are all over the place... where did these come from? There is no such thing as a smooth, nice, relaxing drive in Haiti. My stomach sinks-in every time I drive and the huge speed bumps hit the bottom of my SUV so hard that I can literally feel them under my feet. Every time I drive I think about how awful these roads are, and how I should've not listened to my dad about the no need for new tires, and then I fight with the thought that these roads really should've been fixed by now. Then I wish I had the freedom to just walk in the streets, and not have to sit in the snail-like traffic. I get upset with the government... what are they doing with the billions that is given to this country? This is basic... fundamental to the infrastructure of a country.... Fix the roads and maybe commerce would be less costly, transportation would be easier.... I don't know.. it just makes sense to me. Fix the roads! If anything, people would be in a much nicer mood throughout the day.... Fix the ROAD...business will run smoother, your economy will get better. If a businessman comes and visits the nations capital... I'm sorry but he WILL judge a book by its cover... and your cover Port-au-Prince is decaying and not solid at all..... streets with huge I'm talking about 3 feet deep, 4 feet wide potholes on a major road!

Unacceptable. Forget about business at night... You can count the number of light posts on your way home from the city- center! What about power? Why is there not a reliable power source? Our home has a generator, which has to run the entire day pretty much because there is no power!

Haiti govt. owes the electric company money, it never pays its bills, so the company cuts the power daily!... Really?? Come on... and then you go to these restaurants and see the uppity people, a lot of them Haitian with their new cars, gucci, versace, and whatever other brand name accessories and clothes they wear. There is a large enough elite to at least provide some money to fix the countries roads....or pay the electric bill. But you know what they decide to do instead? Mess up the roads leading to their Miami Vice houses so that there is less traffic going by their houses and their neighborhoods.... Pay a police man instead why don't you!

A lot has been rebuilt since the earthquake but I still pass by about two "tent-cities" daily to go to work. People are still living in tents and I'm coaching/equipping two women who do not have jobs. One of them has never worked and the other only worked in a factory. Unemployment is at a 80% high. People are just trying to make it by selling what they can afford... there are tons of roadside merchants.... bread is a hot item (young Haitian boys will buy bread from the bakery and sell it to get 10G in profit... which is pretty much like a quarter..and no you can't buy food with 10G.)

Oh, most people don't have running water. There are these water pipes where I see people go and bathe themselves (their faces, arms, and legs) You always see girls carrying buckets of water to their homes and these guys selling little plastic bags of water. I think they sell 2 for 10G. It's like a quarter of a bottled water.... but its filtered so thats good. On major roads... tons of boys are wiping the dust off your car for work. I found out most people give them about 5G per car..... again.. not enough to buy a meal. They work until they can get enough to buy food that day. Yea this is true in other countries also, but I'm sure it's not at the magnitude that it is here....

Education in Haiti is a privilege. Most people will only obtain 4 years of primary education. Most teachers barely finished 9 years of education.... The government promises free universal primary education, but that hasn't happened and people are beginning to show their anger. Yesterday there were manifestations and protests in the city against the government. I don't blame them... I don't know what I would do if I lived in a country like this with no out, little opportunity, little access. I guess these places really test your endurance and your faith.

Haiti's shops are colorful, their public transportation called Tap Taps and motorcycle taxis are colorful and always jammed pack. They drive so slow... you don't want to get stuck behind one of these.. they stop like every 5 minutes. They should have their own lane. On their shops and transportation, there is always some type of statement about Bondye... God, or Jezi... Jesus. The blood of Jesus, Patience, glory to God... always something religious... Which leads me to wonder what made them write these? How do they continue to have faith regardless of their circumstance? Is it fear, is it like a talisman to ward off evil or a lucky charm to bring in good?

I taught about 25 boys, off the streets, from ages 8-19 (maybe 22.. they don't really know their age), they all come from broken homes. From the ones I have heard from, not one has a solid relationship with his father. Most of them only know him as their father and they see him around in the city from time to time. They have been abandoned, kicked-out, treated unfairly, and pretty much forgotten. But they come to this make-shift school each day really early knowing this as their one opportunity.... free education, we give them food each day, breakfast and lunch... this is probably the first time they've had two meals in a day for a very long time....

The boys demand to be given things... clothes, shoes, candy, water. When they ask me, they demand it from me. Not one of these boys has asked "Could you... or would you..." it's always been "give me" or simply ... "water" "shoes" "shirt" "dollar" Could it be the language barrier... could it be what they are used to. Why me? Are they asking the other Haitian teachers, or Korean staff? I haven't heard them ask them... What makes them think I can provide for them? What do they see in me that I don't yet see... Does the fact that I am a different color, from a different place, make me suitable for providing their requests. If they only knew I really don't have a lot. Or do I? I have clothes, in comparison to them its lots of clothes, in comparison to people in the states, I really don't have a lot. I do drive a car, and have money to put gas in it. I also know people who have money..... I guess they are right... I should have enough to give to them. But why demand... is it a language barrier? I honestly don't think so... even in your eyes you can see when the tone is one of demand or request. Is this entitlement? What is it that makes us embarrassed to ask for help. Why aren't they?

Religion.... It's a mixture of things here.... They are trying to figure it out themselves. I heard being a Pastor was a good job... because you get money from the foreigners. A Haitian boy told me Pastors have their church "zombifiye"..... get it? How sad. Voudoo.... I see people wearing their white clothes and I think voudou.... and on Fet Gede we saw a man without a shirt who had white mud on his body. Later I saw pictures of the same thing as part of a voudou ceremony. Sundays you see people in their best clothes... kids with suits, little girls in pink little dresses and heels, with bibles in hand to go to church. I wonder what they teach them, I wonder what they are learning. If the gospel is transformation... what is going on here....?

The water here is from a cistern beneath our house... it is not filtered... who knows what kind of sanitation it goes through or where it comes from. Thank the Lord I'm not sick or anything. We have to brush our teeth with filtered water because the water will make our breath stink really badly if we use it to brush our teeth. Every time I take showers my skin itches afterwards.. and my hands feel very dry now.. I am always tempted not to wash my hands and not to take showers. I end up feeling more dirty after I take showers.. :-( I regret the day I heard that antibacterial is not good for you because you decrease your immunity or whatever. Every time I wear antibacterial I wonder if this will make me more susceptible to bacteria and getting sick.....

I asked a lady if she had submitted her life to God and answered to his calling and she said... 50/50.... this is what I think the state of the church is here.... 50/50... .

too bad there is no such thing...

Bye ugly roads, Bye nasty water, Bye heat, bye potholes, bye mosquitoes, bye Salamanca's in our house and random bugs everywhere.... I won't miss you.

Can you tell I need a break.... I also have a lot to learn I'm sure.

Tired and on sensory overload.
Unrequited love. Perfect love.To what extent have I loved? I guess you don't know how much really you love a person until you realize how much your willing to let go of or accept in order to fight for him or her. The test of love is in the measure of sacrifice. I always go back to God's love to understand love because it is the purest definition of love, the most genuine, and everlasting.

God has loved us so much, and to many his love is unfathomable because we have never seen anything like it. He gives his son , his friend, his partner, for you whom has little to no regard for the things on his heart.

In relationships I guess you know you love someone when you are willing to fight for them. Even when they may be lost and they have nothing to offer you in return, but you love them because you see them. Not because you want something in return or because you have something to gain apart from the joy of loving them; you just love them. We can probably understand this love more as we become fathers and mothers.
Unrequited love is one of the worst feelings ever. Having feelings for someone who is seemingly oblivious to you... Or who sees you but chooses not to acknowledge your feelings towards him/her. But I wonder if this is pure love? If love expects no return then do you really love that person when you are devastated that your affections are not reciprocated in the way you desire? Why can't you just enjoy loving him/her? I guess it's because you feel there is no receptor of your love. Anyone who has ever felt this understands very well the importance of being open to being loved. Love may be served out on a platter but it takes another to receive it for it to be enjoyed.

God's love was put on display through Jesus and every day in various ways, but its unrequited for him if we are not receptive and responding to it. And this hurts! When you long for this person to truly understand your affections for them and you've displayed your love to him/her; you're there, available, willing, desiring for relationship, but he/she is non responsive or sometimes is and sometimes isn't. You feel like there is a block to the degree you're able to lavish your love on them. Because they don't want your love or they don't understand how much you care about them. Everyday I draw closer to God and I acknowledge his presence and his love towards me I find I am more able to see and receive his love. His love was always there; I'm just more aware of it. I'm more thankful, and it's ever increasing to me. Allowing him to love me was difficult at first because I was just ignorant of his love as my eyes sought for other lovers. But He has been patient with me and it feels like he loves me more now than then, when all along he has loved me this much! I was just unresponsive and unaware.

So, back to this notion of unrequited love in relationships. What if your silent about your love? Is this not love because your afraid to speak up? Doesnt there have to be a point when you are more afraid to have never said nothing at all? Perfect love casts out all fear... Is what the bible says. And if you love me then you will obey my commandments.
Love has a face, it looks like something. Jesus taught this. If you love, your actions will prove it. He of course was the best example of this.
He lavished his love on us by giving his entire self, he loved us to death! And he loved Father God by being obedient as well... By doing and saying what he saw and heard the father do. He didn't force us to follow him, he compelled us to come to him by his love. He compels us to come.

Back to this relationship stuff then, loving someone compels them to receive your love. The bible is very clear on the role of man and women in relationships. He is to love her as Christ loves us. He compels us to come to him with his love. And she is to respond to him with respect and submission to him. She is to accept his love, his leadership, his guidance. Vulnerable... Trusting. Loving by responding to his love. She is able to do this because he has displayed and confessed his love for her, not just for His own pleasure but for her thriving, for he longs to present her beautiful unto the Lord. Amazing!

Pursuer and receptor. So what happens when these roles aren't assumed properly? Confusion, disagreement, and chaos. Isn't it in our nature that we love to be loved and found? Discovered, cherished and captivated to serve freely and be completely vulnerable? And in man's nature to pursue and to find; to be respected and acknowledged as protector, provider, and leader? Has this recently changed? Have roles been changed because girls have made it easy or because guys have become complacent? Anyways... Situations and circumstances vary I wont get into "what in the world is going on with relationships?" and the dozen of friends I have that are "waiting" to be found and the gentlemen running away from the responsibility. Or the Questions of what does it look like to "wait" and the advice I've received from guys that a girl has to drop some hints... All these rules and should and shouldn't. It's a whole lotta assumptions and speculations... Complicatedness left for another blog. But to keep things simple and each one can be real with himself or herself in accordance to scripture.... The best mirror to look into yourself with. We can always get the right standard from there. The truth in scripture is pretty clear, let's take it back to that. Love! Love earnestly! With no fear, pursue, respect, give and receive. Acknowledge and be thankful of the love that is before you. Love the person in front of you. Men be men. Women be women. As we allow God to embrace us, we are released to love in a radical way because we know we are loved fully already. I can love because I know I am loved eternally, I am secure in God's love for me. So when in pain for a persons unrequited love, there is joy in knowing there is love.

Love. Thanks Papa! Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-69519169579772751292012-10-09T06:07:00.002-07:002012-10-09T06:07:49.819-07:00At this moment.....I'm writing about this moment. In this moment in time I feel so secure in the Lord's plans. I can't describe the way I feel, and it doesnt make sense because I cannot see what He is doing, I see glimpses, which give me an idea of what He might be doing in my life and in my relationships, but if I were to sit and tell you what I see, you'd probably not understand the conclusion I've come to.

So mostly this is a documentation for myself. Jasmine, remember how you feel right now. As you are sitting outside in this garden with the perfect 70 degree weather and wind blowing through your hair, you have your pj's and you've been cleaning up and arranging this garden listening to " I see Heaven" and your secure and confident that the Lord has heard your prayers. He sent his servant from Kenya, to pray and release you into what is your next, and to believe him for this very thing your heart desires. You know with all your heart, you were not expecting this message, and at the moment you weren't really thinking about it, but God in his sovereignty and love, put it in this man's heart to intercede on your behalf, and say it is done.

Now you are asking the next questions, and rejoicing in your answered prayer. You feel like Hannah when she had grieved before the Lord year after year, and finally the year came when the Priest saw her and told her Khalas, go in Peace, and her face turned from sadness to rest and peace... and in DUE TIME... the Lord gave her her request. You know the Lord has heard you, he has sent his word to go out, and now you sit still my daughter and Delight yourself in the Lord.

Your wondering where to go next, yes these questions are not yet answered completely but you feel confident that Papa is revealing them. You are serving him in the little things, honoring him, it is holy, even sweeping is holy unto the Lord, all your actions are holy unto the Lord. You feel like the Lord is watching you and seeing your faithfulness. You also feel like an intercessor. Actually this is your role right now, an intercessor. You sense the schemes of the enemy, and you stop them through your prayers. You feel like you see the effects of your prayers.

Your not afraid for what is to come, you trust and you walk by faith. You are excited at the invitations you've had in the past week to different nations, and the fact that you just got off the phone from a full arabic conversation :) You rejoice that you are loved, desired, and valued.

Daddy reminded you this morning about Rebekka and how he chose her for Isaac. You know you've been chosen, and He has put in lots of work in you. He's cleaned up, dug up, removed stones from your garden and it is beautiful. It's unique and precious and He delights in you. You know your not one from a crowd, but you are set apart, unique, special, created for a purpose and obedient in walking this out. You will not settle for second best, you will wait for and pursue in prayer for the Lord's purposes. You will not allow your disobedience to get in the way of the Lord's promises in store and planned for you.

:)
Wealth that stats to give enjoyment and satisfaction to its owner comes gradually because it is a child born of knowledge and persistent purpose.

#1 Gold comes gladly and in increasing quantity to any man who will put by not less than 1 tenth of his earnings to create an estate for his future and that of his family.

Save consistently and invest wisely.

#2
Gold labors diligently and contentedly for the wise owner who finds for it profitable employment, multiplying even as the flocks of the field. Opportunity will come to make profits from your gold. Put it to work. To make earnings....

#3 gold clings to the protection of the cautious owner who invests it under the advice of men wise in its handling. The man who seeks the advice of men wise in handling gold soon learns not to jeopardize his treasure....

#4 Gold slips away from the man who invests it in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar or which are not approved by those skilled in its keep. Know well what ur investing in.

#5 gold flees the man who would force it to impossible earnings or who Ollie's the alluring advice of tricksters and schemers or who trusts it to his own inexperience And romantic desires in investment. Great wealth suddenly is not good. Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-53596407859954094912012-07-29T02:01:00.001-07:002012-07-29T02:05:41.997-07:00Love languages: words of affirmationLearn to love each other without the euphoria of the in-love obsession. it's hard work. Recognize the in-love experience for what it was- a temporary emotional high and pursue real love with your spouse. that kind of love is emotional in nature but not obsessional. It is a love that unites reason and emotion. It involves an act of the will and requires discipline and it recognizes the need for personal growth. Our most basic emotional need is not to fall in love but to be genuinely loved by another. to know A love that grows out of reason and choice not instinct. I need to be loved by someone who chooses to love me; who sees in me something worth loving. True love cannot begin until the in-love experience has run its course.

Words: The tongue has the power of life and death. An anxious heart weighs a man down but a kind word cheers him up. Verbal complements and your words of appreciation are powerful communicators of love. Mark Twain says I can live for two months on a good compliment. I love compliments I love affirmation. Verbal compliments are far greater motivators than nagging words. When we receive affirming words we are far more likely to be motivated to reciprocate and do something the other person desires.

Encouraging words: to inspire courage.

Sometimes people just need a little encouragement to tap into the potential that they have. Words are important this is one of my main love languages. Words of affirmation.Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-75566920883261123902012-07-27T01:22:00.001-07:002012-07-28T00:27:33.377-07:00Commanding your morning: wordsI am blessed. All of my needs are met and I have more than enough for myself, my household and extra left over to give to others. Speak out your blessings.

"Do not be deceived God is not mocked for whatever men sows that he will also reap for he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." Galatians 6:7-8

I am the sum total of what I have been confessing through the years. Words released into the atmosphere do not disappear or dissipate. Words have power, presence and prophetic implications they create a magnetic force that pulls the manifestation of what you speak good or bad blessing or cursing from other realms, regions and dimensions. They are suspended and incubated in the realm of the Spirit awaiting the correct time and optimum condition for manifestation.

God promised to the people of Israel that He would take them out of Egypt and take them into the land of milk and honey but because of the complaining and because of the words that they released into the atmosphere they were not allowed to go into the promised land. They filled the atmosphere with their own fear and defeat rather than faith and victory what they received was not according to God's promises but according to what they filled the atmosphere with. They steered their lives in a port of fear and failure and they dropped their anchor there and then they were surprised that the water was filled with nothing but sharks. They snatched defeat right out of the mouth of victory.
Lawyers study the word of God as the lawbook on which to govern society. They read their bibles as lawyers would when studying to prepare a case and they put more faith in God keeping his word than they did in any earthly laws or political promises. Then they took those words and charged the atmosphere around them with biblical truth. They changed their worlds through what they spoke.

Ezekiel 37:1-14 Then the Lord said they indeed say our bones are dry our hope is lost and we ourselves are cut off. Therefore prophesy and say to them the Lord God says behold O h my people I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel then you shall know that I am the Lord when I have opened your graves oh my people and brought you up from your graves. I will put my Spirit in you and you shall live and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that, i the Lord have spoken it and performed it says the Lord.

Second Chronicles Chapter 20. For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us nor do we know what to do but our eyes are upon you. so then the spirit of The Lord said hear me oh Jasmine believe in the Lord your God come into agreement with what God is saying, and you shall be established- to be up held, nourished, settled and able to stand firm. believe come into agreement with what the Prophets are saying because with God nothing is impossible his prophets and you shall prosper prevail, succeed, advance, progress, and overcome. And when he had consulted with the people he appointed those who should sing to the Lord and who should praise the beauty of holiness as they went out before the army and said praise the Lord for his mercy endures forever.

This says the Lord to you: do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude for the battle is not yours, but God's. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord who is with you, oh Jasmine do not fear or be dismayed. tomorrow go out against them for the Lord is with you....

hebrews 10: 23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, For he who promised is faithful.

Jesus multiplied the bread and the fish by speaking to it and blessing it. He turned his eyes toward heaven and spoke out a blessing. The verb for Bless here means to invoke God's presence as well as to infuse his provision into a thing. He invoked God presence and the bread and fish were brought forth or made manifest. Jesus affected the spiritual molecules enough to cause the bread and fish to miraculously appear. they had been there the whole time in the spiritual realm Matthew 14:19 – 20

Daniel 10:12 do not fear Jasmine for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

Your faith attracts the attention of the heavens angels to work on your behalf while your fear draws the demons of hell to work against you.

In response to our prayers spiritual forces are set in motion to bring God's will to the earth. Prayer has its first effect in the spiritual realm. When the work is finished in the spiritual realm, the answer is revealed in the material

Answers are held up in the heavenly's and locked up in the realm of the spirit until there is a person able to pick up on the correct frequency and act as a conduit to release God's will into the earth.

Secret things belong unto God but those things that are revealed belong unto man. Deuteronomy 29:29

Job 22:27 – 28: you will make your prayer to him, he will hear you, and you will pay your vows. You also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.

to make your prayer means to construct. you are going to construct your prayers you're going to decree what God has put on your heart to desire. you are a royal priesthood adorned with the Kingly anointing. A king does not ask for anything A king declares and decrees because he has that authority and those in his world rush to see that they are accomplished. Let the weak say I am strong Joël 3:10

Jacob wrestled. Lot inquired. Moses intervened. David repented. Solomon asked. Daniel fasted.

Beauty and creativity are products of clarity and organization. Ephesians 5:15 – 17 look carefully then how you walk. Live purposefully and worthily and accurately not As the unwise and witless but as wise, sensible, intelligent people making the very most of the time buying up each opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.

Disciplined and dedicated submitted themselves to God's commands you are bold and courageous because you understand the power of the divine hierarchy and authority. you follow orders knowing the power available in submitting to God. "All the work of Solomon was well ordered from the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord until it was finished." Second Chronicles 8:16

Structure your time so that you can structure your thoughts for they provide the structure for your life. Know when to take hold of an idea and run with it and when to wait and let it mature until it has ripened. Get God's timing. Discern God's order.

Now this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if We know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. if we know that he hears us we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14 – 15

Be still and know that he is God focus on doing what you know you should be doing and let God Do his part without doubting if he will or not. God will always do his part.

God is an early riser. the Bible is full of references of his prophets and saints rising early to pray to here God's voice. God is notorious for waking his followers early in the morning to give them instructions insights or warnings those who seek to be used of God must be willing to rise up early. Soldiers are ever alert and ready to respond to orders. the bugle blows early because battles are won through the preparations done in the early hours of the day especially spiritual battles. Praying early is not just in the morning but it also means to pray far in advance of something happening before a situation escalates.

God rebuked Jeremiah in Chapter 7:13 I spoke to you rising up early and speaking but you did not hear and I called you but you did not answer Isaiah 50:4-5 "he wakes me up in the morning wakes me up opens my ears to listen as one ready to take orders.

Principle: good things come to those who rise early and praise God. David said "awake my glory! awake lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. psalm 57:8 God you are my God I early Will i seek you. Psalm 63:1

In Luke 21:38 we read: "early in the morning all the people came to Jesus in the temple to hear him." In John 8:2 we read, "at dawn he appeared again in the temple courts where all the people gathered around him and he sat down to teach them."

Wake up Early; seek God in the morning this is when he likes to speak to you.

Jesus is teaching so that you may have success and prosperity so that you would know the success and prosperity that is available to you if you pursue these Kingdom principles. success is a fulfillment of divine purpose while prosperity is having enough Divine provision to overcome obstacles.

As a believer you must understand that you have been given the Mystery of the kingdom and access to the kingdom principles. I was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven
So that in thus life you can walk in Divine Dominion.i will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. whatever you allow in Earth heaven allows. whatever you say no to in Jesus name. Heaven will back you up by binding it. nothing leaves heaven until the request for it leaves earth. this is how powerful this spoken word is. It has the ability to open or close spiritual heavenly portals Isaiah 5511 so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth it shall not return to me void but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

A person who is coached to participate in the kingdom of heaven is one who is able to tap into both ancient truth and fresh wisdom Matthew 13:52 he said to them every teacher and interpreter of the sacred writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven and has become a disciple is like a householder who brings out of his storehouse treasure that is new and treasure that is old. the fresh as well as a familiar.

Have you commanded the morning since the days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth and the wicked be shaken out of it? God asked Job have you commanded the morning Job 38:12 – 13

During Jesus' generation a watch consisted of three hour periods. The first watch would begin at 6 PM the second at 9 PM the third at midnight the fourth at 3 AM and the fifth at 6 AM there's a total of eight watches four in the night and four in the day but those hours of prayer should be place within the context of the evening to morning watches which actually began at 6 PM and end at 6 AM it is important to understand that the ending of a watch shift is just as important as the beginning because it is during this timeframe that the enemy will attempt to set up an ambush attack. Every effort should be made to reinforce a prayer agenda that is embraced by all watches. as the chief intercessor Jesus knew the most effective time to pray. he was god in action and he deemed it as a divine imperative To begin his prayer watch sometime during the first watch which is approximately 6 PM as a prayer general Jesus was an adept prayer technician able to pray with fluency proficiency clarity and accuracy for as long as it was necessary to pray for something. I pray that God will grant me the same divine ability.

Applying the discipline of kingdom living Jesus wanted to expose the disciples to the discipline of kingdom living in order to live the kingdom you must have discipline strategic prayer and divine awareness. Before every great kingdom event that Jesus did the Bible shows us that he spent a minimum of 10 to 12 hours in prayer.

Jesus was commanding the morning and taking authority over his day. to command means to instruct. dictate. exercise authority. master and conquer control. give orders to. demand so as to receive what is due. rule. decree supervise. keep watch. manage administrate. regulate

Isaiah 1:19 says if you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land. Are you willing? When you use this strategy you activate the 24 hour anointing this anointing brings all the elements surrounding your life into divine alignment with God's purpose for you this 24 hour anointing brings you to a kind of prophetic critical mass.

Isaiah 44:7 then let him declare it and set it in order for me and the things that are coming and shall come let them show these to them.

God knows the end from the beginning and everything in between and these are the things that he wants to reveal to you. The book of Job says that this is what God actually does he opens up the mind of man and speaks inspirational thoughts so that he can keep man from pursuing his own limited way. Got Stotz our abundance and not lack he wanted to live large into Brinkey went to a good life. He gives you Divine inspirational thoughts and the ability to speak them into Rick's assistance so that you will grow to fulfill his best planFor your life. He wants you to mature in wisdom authority and supernatural ability so that you can bear witness to the Splendor of his kingdom. Your miracle is already in existence but it is up to you to learn to see and to call it out.

Jesus called that donkey to be brought to him it was tied up until Jesus called for it in the same way there's something that you might need and it's waiting for you to call it to you it will not be let loose until you call it in. Numbers 14:28 the Lord says just as you have spoken in my hearing so I will do to you. In job 33:5 it says set your words in order before me take your stand. In Ephesians 6:14, 18 it says stand your ground stay alert and be persistent in your prayers.

Speak with conviction and confess with expectation. Expect that whatever you have decreed will come to pass. Jesus taught in Mark 11:24 whatever things you ask when you pray believe that you receive them and you will have them. in the same verse Jesus emphasized the need for us to to speak and say three times more than he did believe.

We are partners with God to activate his perfect will for us in this life. we are colaboring with Christ on our own behalf as well as on the behalf of those whom we are praying for.

As I was praying I was standing before the throne of God and the Holy Spirit led me to stretch my hands out and on my hands was placed a huge golden key. I needed both hands to carry it, thats how long and wide it was. It was intricate, beautiful, bright, and ancient. I came home to look up the significance of keys in the bible. "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the honor of kings to search it out." Proverbs 25:2 I am in God's kingdom and I have learned to search out the treasures of God, because they are wonderful and rewarding! More is released to you as you show your diligence and your true desire to know the Father's heart, his wishes, his dreams. Any person will tell you his thoughts if you actually show him you care to listen, why would the Father be any different. He is so good to share his heart and his thoughts and these are a treasure chest!! So this is what I've been discovering... on this topic of Keys I will just point out the things that are being highlighted to me right now, because the study is very thorough.

In Isaiah 22:2-25 You will find two men: One is Shebna and the other is Eliakim. Shebna is described as a man who is building for himself a tomb to be remembered. For this reason, God removes him, for he is a contemptible steward and treasurer. In his place He calls Eliakim, He says he will clothe him with Shebna's robe, and bind him with Shebna's girdle, and will commit Shebna's authority to Eliakim's hands. God proclaims over Eliakim that he will be a Father to the inhabitants to the house of Judah and the KEY of David will be laid upon his shoulder. He says that with this key, he shall OPEN and NO ONE will SHUT, and he shall SHUT and NO ONE shall OPEN!! What AUTHORITY!! (By the way this passage contains alot about the future to come Messiah... worth looking into)

So, we find these two men in this time of struggle for the kingdom, in a time of war, one of which has pretty much given up on victory and is focusing on how to be remembered, he is literately building his tomb! His focus is on himself and on his death... what hope is this?! He has misused his authority, his royalty, his knowledge to build a name for himself. He is useless to the kingdom because he is not bringing about solutions for the kingdom. If God is King, and we are part of his kingdom aren't we called to carry out the tasks of the kingdom and look for the edification and establishment of this very kingdom we belong to?? When Shebna fails to do this and uses the resources of the kingdom for his name sake, God takes away this authority and gives it to his servant ELIAKIM. The name Eliakim in hebrew means: "God sets up or God raises up" He gives him this key, which allows him to open and close doors..... to what you ask? to the advancement of the Kingdom.
We learn a principle of the kingdom here.. in Isaiah 23:9 "the Lord of hosts has purposed it [in accordance with a fixed principle of His government] to defile the pride of all glory and to bring into dishonor and contempt all the honored of the earth." So we see from this that God pretty much hates pride and when he sees it he will do what it takes to humble this person. He is the one who gives authority out in the first place, and if we fail to recognize who that key belongs to, and give HIM the glory He deserves, God can and will take it away to one He is able to trust to do with his authority the business of the kingdom.

So back to this key... we see that it's called the Key of David what He gives to Eliakim. In Revelation 3:7 we see that Jesus has this Key : "This is the message from the one who is holy and true, the one who has
the key of David. What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes,
no one can open. I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which
no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet
you have kept my word and have not denied my name."

Who else had these keys in scripture?
Peter,
Jesus' followers,

Matthew 16:13-19 "I will give you the keys to the kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Jesus told him this after Peter responded to his question of who Jesus is. When Peter respondeded with understanding and revelation from the Father that Jesus is Messiah, Jesus proclaimed to him that he would be given these keys, that will open and close the doors of heaven on earth. It sounds like a test, or a prerequisite to being given the keys.

Key in hebrew is "maf-tay-ach" which literately means "opener." We see that people with the keys becomes themselves as openers, they take on the characteristics of these keys. Can they be used incorrectly, I believe so! Whoever has the keys of a home has a level of authority in that home, Jesus rebuked the pharisees. "What sorrow awaits you experts in religious law! For you remove the key
to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves,
and you prevent others from entering." In this case it seems like the key is knowledge, which makes sense, because Peter was asked a question and when he answered correctly he was given the keys. So without knowledge/revelation/wisdom from above, you cannot be a carrier of these keys. You must know how to operate in the Kingdom. Acquire Knowledge from God. Ask of him wisdom and he will give you. The word of God opens up doors, we must Know God's word and we must know Who He is, we must be faithful to the words of the Lord and and declare them, because his words are life, as we speak them we live and bring others to life! Peter was given the keys after he answered with Knowledge and Revelation from above. The pharisees who had the law, had the key of knowledge, the word, and yet were not opening doors to the kingdom.

Later we see Peter was given the task to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. (Acts 10) He was the instrument, the key, to open up the door of the Kingdom of God to the gentiles.

So is it safe to say that these Keys are given to those who know how to use them as good stewards to open doors for the establishment of the Kingdom. Different people have them. Faithful and good stewards. KINGDOM BUILDERS.

This week... as I walked around I came across people with gold keys. Yes actual keys. God was showing me there are others who also have these keys.... I met a man from Argentina and around his neck he had a gold key, he had opened up an evangelistic tour company here in the holy land. Then I met a man from Texas who was establishing a house of prayer in an ancient city here in the holy land, he also had a gold key around his neck. He told me that when God gave it to him, he told him it stands for obedience opens up the good doors. I don't deem this a coincidence, I saw a drawing of Peter with a key by his head where is said " I have a dream". I can relate.........I have a dream as well.

Through these encounters with actual people with actual keys, God has given me insight to the networks of his Kingdom and Kingdom people who have certain keys in different areas and mountains. These are the people that the Lord has "set up" equipped and they are "opening" and "closing" doors for the establishment of his Kingdom. And he is setting us up in our spheres of influence to administer his desires and the ways of the Kingdom of Heaven. Are you one of these? It is important to look into the lives of those who were given these keys, this trust, and what the Lord deems a good and faithful servant and steward. He is also asking us to come into contact, and to work together. He sets up this highway of Kingdom connections. It will require love and trust and diligence.

As his royal priesthood may we use the keys to unlock doors, open up treasure chests, and unveil the truths of his word to those who are in darkness and outside of the kingdom for HIS names' sake.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English (©2010)
1 Peter 2:9 But
you are a chosen race who serve as Priests for The Kingdom, a holy
people, a redeemed assembly; you should proclaim the praises of him who
called you from darkness into his excellent light.

Mark 13:34, "For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch."

Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Be faithful in the little, Eliakim was a servant of the Lord, and God set him up. He could be trusted, he was a good steward, he had the kingdoms' best interest at heart.

Prayer: May I be found a faithful servant my King, may my heart be yours for your kingdom, my eyes look to you and my will is surrendered to your will. May I come to the full understanding of your ways and the authority given to us, your people, through Jesus Christ, and may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May I fulfill all that you called me, set me apart, and chose me to do in this generation and may your name be known in the darkest places. That there may be light. For your loving kindness and justice is very much needed. May we reflect your passionate love and compassion in this place. May your kingdoms principles be established, that many may be restored to beauty, joy, and peace. In your son's name, Amen.
What Is the Meaning of the Jasmine Flower?
By Caroline Shurr, eHow Contributor

Throughout history, people have attributed special meanings or symbolism to flowers. The practice came into full bloom during the Victorian era, when the language of flowers was most popular. Speaking through flower symbolism was especially prevalent between romantic couples because open public communication was not allowed in polite society. Today, many flowers still carry those meanings with them, including the jasmine flower.

History
For thousands of years, the jasmine plant has been cultivated not only for the beauty of its small, white, star-like flowers, but it has also been prized for its intoxicating scent. Originating in the foot hills of the Himalayas and Ganges plains, the plant was cultivated and brought to India, China, the Middle East and other regions. From there, it spread into France, Italy and the Mediterranean, and eventually it was introduced to the rest of Western Europe and Britain. Today, jasmine is grown and cultivated all over the world in its many varieties.
Origin of the Name
The name jasmine comes from the Persian word "yasmin," which means "fragrant flower." The name Jasmine is also used as a girl's name, meaning "God's gift." The scientific name is Jasminum Officinale.
Meaning
Since jasmine has been cultivated all over the world for its flowers and scent, there are different varieties, and each type of jasmine is associated with different meanings. Because of its attractive scent, the white, or Indian, jasmine symbolizes attachment and sensuality. The white flower of jasmine can also represent amiability and modesty. Yellow jasmine is associated with grace and elegance, while the variety known as Spanish jasmine also represents sensuality. In India, jasmine flowers are given as religious offerings as a symbol of divine hope, and the flowers are sometimes used in religious ceremonies.
Uses
The most obvious use for jasmine is for its scent, whether in landscapes and gardens or in perfumes. Women of various southeast Asian cultures use the flowers in their hair for their beautiful fragrance. In China, jasmine has been used for tea for centuries, and some cultures believe drinking jasmine tea daily can prevent diseases such as cancer. In aromatherapy, jasmine is thought to be an antidepressant and to promote relaxation while helping with fatigue and tension. The scent is often used in incenses and massage oils, and some cultures believe when jasmine is burned or worn, it will attract spiritual love, wealth, money and prophetic dreams.
Interesting Fact
The scent of the jasmine flower is most potent at night, when it releases its scent into the cooler night air.<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-5956543943847105632012-07-01T02:07:00.001-07:002012-07-01T02:07:55.329-07:00Numbers: direction and designGod is creative. Preparing yourself to change. Prepare yourself for the miserable part. It's frustrating at the beginning levels u need a new mindset to be able to push through the elementary levels. If your not prepared for change u will miss an opportunity.
Decide what your going to be. Discovered and instilled in us as kids it should be. Your special your not like everyone else healthy expectation to be something different. The way I think. Who am I? Am I created in his image or not? has all authority been given to me or has it not? I am who God says I am. Benjamin Franklin carried a list of virtues that he would live by at the age of 12. Live ur life on purpose. He kept in his pocket. Waste no time. Successful ppl do the small things that normal ppl know to do but don't do. Start at the end of the grave. Imagine urself dying. What would u have them say? What's most important to u. Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-85335092515760791152012-06-27T01:43:00.001-07:002012-08-04T04:05:28.874-07:00Finance rules#1 start thy purse to fattening. For each ten coins I put in, to spend but nine. A part of all you earn is yours to keep.

#2 control thy expenditures. What each of us calls our necessary expenses will always grow to equal our income unless we protest to the contrary. Confuse not the necessary expenses with thy desires. Thy desires are a multitude and those that thou mayest gratify are but a few. Budget your necessary expenses. Touch not the one tenth that is fattening thy purse. Budget thy expenses that thou mayest have coins to pay for your necessities to pay for thy enjoyments and to gratify thy worthwhile desires without spending more than nine tenths of thy earnings.

But as a believer it's 8 tenths because one tenth goes to Gods house.

#3 Make thy Gold multiply
An income that continueth to come whether thou work or travel. Profitable investment. Put each coin to laboring that it may reproduce it's kind even as the flocks of the field and help bring to thee income, a stream of wealth that shall flow constantly into thy purse.

#4 Guard thy treasure from loss
By investing only where thy principal is safe, where it may be reclaimed if desirable and where thou will not fail to collect a fair rental. Consult with wise men. Secure the advice of those experienced in profitable handling of gold. Let their wisdom protect thy treasure from unsafe investments.

#5 Make of thy dwelling a profitable investment. Own thy own home. You can pay the money lender with the same regularity as you paid the landlord.

#6 Insure a future income
Provide in advance for the needs of thy growing age and the protection of thy family.

#7 increase your ability to earn. Cultivate your own power, study, and become wiser, to become more skillful, to act as to respect yourself. so then you will acquire confidence in yourself to achieve your carefully considered desires.preceding accomplishment must be desire. Thy desires must be strong and definite.general desires are but weak longings. Be in front of progress and not to stand still lest you be left behind. Seek training and skills in the best places to be in front of the line in what you do. Cultivate.

Pay your debts with all the promptness in ur power. Don't buy what u can't afford.

Take care of your family that they may think and speak well of you.

Make a will of record that in case God calls you proper and honorable division of his property be accomplished.

Have compassion upon on the needy and aid them within reasonable limits. Do deeds of thoughtfulness to those dear to u.

Take opportunity when it comes to invest. Don't procrastinate in your desire to success.

No man can arrive at a full measure of success until he has completely crushed the spirit of procrastination within him. To attract good luck to oneself, it is necessary to take advantage of opportunities. Good luck often follows opportunity but seldom comes otherwise. Men of action please God the most. Action will lead you forward to the successes you do desire. Men of action are favored by the Lord of all the wart and giver of good gifts.
TOZER:

The yearning to know What cannot be known, to comprehend the Incomprehensible, to touch and taste the Unapproachable, arises from the image of God in the nature of man.

In Christ and by Christ, God effects complete self-disclosure, although He shows Himself not to reason but to faith and love.'

”Neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son,” said our Lord, “and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” The Gospel according to John reveals the helplessness of the human mind before the great Mystery which is God, and Paul in First Corinthians teaches that God can be known only as the Holy Spirit performs in the seeking heart an act of self-disclosure.

“What has God disclosed about Himself that the reverent reason can comprehend?” there is, I believe, an answer both full and satisfying.

I pray, whatever of Thyself Thou hast been pleased to disclose, help me to search out as treasure more precious than rubies or the merchandise of fine gold: for with Thee shall I live when the stars of the twilight are no more and the heavens have vanished away and only Thou remainest

What is God like? What kind of God is He? How may we expect Him to act toward us and toward all created things? Such questions are not merely academic. They touch the far-in reaches of the human spirit, and their answers affect life and character and destinyJasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-32529000063292486362012-06-18T03:36:00.001-07:002012-06-18T04:03:39.639-07:00My 26th Birthday Wishes.Wishes I received and loved:
My heart has been unsealed and awakened to love. The cover is removed by my lover who has pursued me with confidence and love. I'm awakened to life; to love. I see the lion of Judah roaring over my heart. Demonstrating his magnificent love and determination. It's a persistent roar loud and majestic; confident and eternal. He won't relent. The plastic screen; the covering is removed from my heart. It's unsealed by the sound of his roar. It's time to love without fear. . He loves me he loves me.... The groom is searching for his bride. He is looking to love her; to satisfy her with sweet and tender love....so many sleeping hearts...listen....My lover is knocking. He comes. "I arose to open for my lover and my hands dripped with myrrh on the handles of the lock." Awake oh north wind, come wind of the south and awaken me to love....."if you find my beloved tell him I am faint with love." I'll search for you as treasure as that pearl hidden away. I am awakened. Keep me as the apple of your eye... I lift up my eyes to you oh lover of my soul...there's no place I'd rather be than here in your love. Great awakening. <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-15307278172377647282012-06-15T00:41:00.001-07:002012-06-15T02:39:48.616-07:00June 2012 back out in the Middle EastI arrived Jordan the beginning of June with a group of friends after a week we became like family. I came back to this region in love with Jesus and expectant to see the Holy Spirit move in power and to move as He led. I enjoyed my time in Amman met some amazing people that I wish I had more time with. This is the hardest part for me.... To connect and disconnect so quickly with people. Ah but just makes me smile the father is wonderful in allowing me to meet such awesome people he shows me what he is doing in their lives and it's beautiful!!!! Oh God the works of your hands are perfect they are beautiful!!! I love being a part of what God is doing in places that are untouched by the decadence of greed selfishness and human manipulation. Behold I am doing a new thing declares the Lord. Can you not perceive it... I make streams in the desert. Streams of living water. I love to be with people who are on fire for life. Passionate people. When you truly are happy to be alive. To love life to desire life is to be truly alive. How I long to run, with a holy pursuit of all things glorious for the fulfillment of the desires of my heart which is to see justice and righteousness delivered; love and healing that satisfies the deepest darkest places. joy an beauty where foundations have been burned and to see restoration of beauty where there seems to be no hope. This is a time to focus on the design that truly brings transformation. For the more te greatness that comes from above. To set a goal and run with it.it definitely a different feeling now. Last time the Lord showed me what I could do without him but now I am discovering what is to be done alongside Him!!! :) exciting! <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-80277884394703485402012-02-01T05:18:00.001-08:002012-02-01T09:35:49.954-08:00Jaz after being REVOLUTIONIZED! action requested :)
Who has walked with God?

Gen.5:22 Enoch walked with God
Gen 6:9 Noah walked with God- a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time.
Micah 6:8 He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

Prayer, contrary to popular opinion, is not primarily asking God for things, but rather being with God. 1 thess. 5:17 says pray continually, if we were to do this we'd be walking with Him all day, don't you think? But how? Seems like our notion of prayer needs some adjustment. I'm out to find that out.

Prayer is not incessant talking to God but unceasing walking with God.
1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

1 Chronicles 5:20
They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.

Jeremiah 10:23
[ Jeremiah's Prayer ] I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.

Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Its a lifestyle- a way of trusting, leaning on the Lord.

There's a problem if we can't do this, and it boils down to not trusting, selfishness, and fear.

He meant it to be for us to walk before him without any shame in complete friendship and respect. but..... Right now I don't see them. Its been a tough couple of weeks. I feel that every deep relationship/friendship that I've built has been torn away from me. My comfort, my peace is that the my relationship with the Lord cannot be torn away, no matter where I'm at, He is near. He knows my every thought, my sorrows, my desires. He understands me and in my stubborness He is patient to teach me and discipline me in love. Today is Mexican Mother's day. I bought some flowers for my sis here, I miss my family.

Music. It has the power to make you sad, happy, thoughtful, tired, frustrated, scared. Usually you can't think clearly while music is playing, if it has lyrics. Silent button. Shhhhhhh..... what peace. In this crazy city its constantly noisy and loud. I need rest. But the quietness reminds me that I'm alone. Being alone is not something that is easy for me. I guess if I walked with the assurance that I would be alone only for a little while longer, I'd enjoy the quietness more.

We want what we don't have rather than indulging in all that we do have.

I can't believe there are only about 5 months left until I say goodbye. I think I might come back. But this depends on alot of things. I can't see myself like this for 2 more years. I'm waiting on the Lord to make some things clear. He's showed me that one of those options of mine is not that great. But I'm asking that he would do a work, and I know He is able. So I wait, and we'll see.

I pray that eyes of the heart will be enlightened to see Dad's marvelous plans and will.
I need something new, and refreshing. I feel like its been struggle after struggle, yalla, Dad, you said after a little while.....Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-76998934835854511572010-04-17T15:46:00.000-07:002010-04-17T16:06:01.969-07:00April Showers bring May flowers....I hope so.
Its been a while since I've logged on here.

Wow, its been such a great year so far, and I can't believe we are already at the end of April.

Time has flown, but Dad has taught me so much in this time. I'll summarize at the top of my head.

He taught me to eliminate and concentrate.

Discipline starts with something small. Like.... maybe going to sleep early and waking up early.

Give freely. Give without judging whether the person will use it correctly or not. Give out of the abundance or little that you have. Give sacrificially, and provide for your brothers and sisters in need.

Memorize his word, meditate on it, and stand firm in it. Truth sanctifies.

Stand firm in his promises, so that you can resist the deceptions of the enemy.

The battle starts in the mind.

Oatmeal in the morning, coffee, worship, and His Word, is the sweetest part of my day.

Cry to Him. Run to Him. Be intimate with Him. He will be there. Go to Him before anyone else.

Die to self, walk blameless, thirst for righteousness.

Say No to sin, and don't look back.

Praise Him for his grace and compassion upon us.

Tune your ears to His voice.

Let it go, and fix your gaze on God.

Don't put your attention on what grabs it. Pay attention to what needs to be put attention to.

He gives Honey from the Rock.

TRUE STORY: He has angels watching over me, A man followed me, and as much as I ignored him he continued, but when I stopped and responded to him, and asked if he wanted to speak in the light? His face turned into one of horror and he turned away terrified, as if he had just seen death!!!

A godly man, will not pursue a godly woman by mentioning other women to her, to get a reaction out of her.

God knows my needs before I even do, he will make them aware to me, and I must have complete faith that he is my portion and provider each day.

The prudent see danger and seek refuge, the simple just keep going.

Nehemiah built with shovel in one hand and sword in the other. Be on the alert always.

Don't deceive yourself, breaking the rules, does not please God.

Tune your ears to the sound of his voice.

He does not forsake the works of his hand.

Right now is the time to become the woman God wants me to be, and a woman that inspires confidence, a woman who works eagerly with her hands, a woman who plans and invest for the future, with wisdom and strengthened hands she is a blessing to many, and fears the Lord.

Commitment precedes intimacy. At all times.
Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-19922370773813732122010-01-26T13:33:00.000-08:002010-01-26T13:55:10.451-08:00He turned my circumstances around. All this waiting that was going on, and all these unknowns really taught me to be patient. God knows I'm impatient...I'm a doer and when I can't really do nothing about my circumstances its really frustrating. However, Dad wanted to teach me to trust in Him to DO. and he DID.

He did it in such a way that I could've never done.

He provided for me to go home for the holidays. It was a complete surprise and such a gift. I spent sweet times with my family and close friends. There were moments that some try to steal the happiness that God was gifting me with. But I didn't allow it. Because I knew that this happiness that I had came from the King and that I should not allow anything to steal this joy.

Then I came back to the desert in a strengthened attitude. Convinced of what I needed to do and renewed/strengthened to do so.

He placed me with new friends, gave me new challenges, equipped me with new tools.
HE turned my life right around. I would've never thought I'd be where I am right now.
I'm happy.

There are still some things that I don't know about, but I am trusting to know at the right time.

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3445025509608698371.post-71601546560840206952010-01-26T13:06:00.000-08:002010-01-26T13:33:17.812-08:00Waiting... Unclear...SighIts been a whirlwind of changes. A time of waiting, a time of frustration, and then a time of just letting go and trusting God. The phrase that helped me out the most, was if God has you waiting, then He must be really working on something really good. I'll go ahead and share with you a note I wrote one night in the middle of all of this. Just being transparent.

Written in DECEMBER:-
I feel unstable. There is nothing secure right now.
I don't know if I will be able to move to the place near my job..
I work in this really poor neighborhood, where every time I go I have to be extra conservative. Be alert to my surroundings. I have to go at nights, when, honestly it can be quite intimidating. But I love it... i'm always reminded of the reality of life style of most of the people in this country.

Thank you, Dad for loving me through the ones I least expect it. A little girl, told me she loves me and wants to give me a gift. Bless her heart, how can she say this, she has nothing to her name. She's the one that is always running errands for people. Dad has put in me a desire to give her a gift, I just dont know how. Some have told me that her family could be upset, or ppl in the streets will think I have something up my sleeves. I want to be able to understand this culture.

I don't know how I'm going to teach so many, i'm overwhelmed. I dunno why... I should wait to see, for all i know I won't teach advanced level english, maybe it will just be one student. Not that I just want it to be her, just that if it is her, it be easier for me to meet with her during the day, ya know so I wont be there every night for one person. Not just that but, the fact that I'd taking up the center 4 nights of the week. which leaves 3 days, days that no one really wants to go to classes. I don't know how this scheduling will work out. UGHHHH...

I dont know how many students I will have. I dont know who will come. I dont know if there will be enough students. I dont know if there will be enough room. I dont know if I will be able to handle teaching these many days. I don't know what all will come out of this.I don't know if its even worth it.

Dad, this is what I need: I feel alone. I need help. Dedicated teachers, qualified or willing to be trained. I need a center where we can have at least two classes at the same time. I need to know whether or not you want me to move to this area. I need courage to say I can't and realize my limitations. I need to trust in you

My work schedule is not known.
What I will teach is not known.
My living situation is not known.
The heart of the people i'm working with is not known.
I dont know if all this work is worth it.
I dont know if there will be enough students.
I dont know who will teach..
I dont know what is coming out of this.
I dont know how long I will be here.
My future with my team is not known.
My future education is not known.
A lot of things are unknown right now.

Help me to live a day at a time and worry about what I can do and leave the rest to you.

Jasminehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18393823815508846016noreply@blogger.com0
